A Place to Land, Heal, and Grow
I believe healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with the parts of us shaped by our experiences. From a young age, I have been drawn to people and their stories.
I’ve always been curious about what shapes us, how our experiences influence the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. That curiosity, combined with my own personal growth journey, led me to counselling work that I feel deeply grateful to be part of.
With more than 15 years of experience in the human services field, I have supported individuals across a wide range of settings, including child development, disability services, vocational rehabilitation, mental health and substance use, and community outreach.
Across every role, I have witnessed the same truth: when people feel safe, understood, and supported, meaningful change becomes possible.
My Approach
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed understanding of how early relationships, life experiences, and chronic stress influence emotional wellbeing.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges, particularly concerns connected to childhood experiences, family-of-origin dynamics, attachment wounds, and the unique stressors experienced by first responders and veterans.
Together, we explore patterns that may no longer be serving you while building greater self-awareness, emotional safety, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Therapy is not about fixing who you are. It is about creating space for understanding, self-compassion, and sustainable growth.
Clients often describe my approach as calm, collaborative, and grounded. I believe meaningful healing happens when people feel safe enough to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.

Rooted In Connection
Inspired by the meaning of lokahi — balance and harmony — Lokahi Wellness Collective was founded on the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, understood, and connected.
Lisa's vision was to create a collaborative space where practitioners and clients alike can feel supported in meaningful growth and lasting change.
